OUR POSITION ON A SITUATION IN GAZA

The following statement has been drafted and published by Forum Artis on the first of February 2024. As a member of the organisation, Globe Art Point decided to support this statement by sharing it publicly with our community.

Forum Artis, a cooperation organisation of artists’ organisations, demands that the Finnish government does everything possible to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza and protects everyone’s human rights both in Israel and in Gaza and other Palestinian territories. Forum Artis does not accept Islamophobia or anti-Semitism, and demands more decisive actions from Finland for a ceasefire and against violence, oppression and hate speech.

Peace to Palestine and Israel.

Forum Artis demands that the Finnish government do everything possible to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza and to protect everyone’s human rights both in Israel and in Gaza and other Palestinian territories.
