    LOCATION

    WHERE TO FIND US?
You can find us at Malminkatu 5, 00100, Helsinki.

You can find us easily: when you enter Malminkatu from Runeberginkatu/Kamppi metro station turn right, G.A.P is at the end of the street on the right side, located in a pink building.

We are open Tuesday to Friday 10-15 h. by appointment.

    OUR FACILITIES

Globe Art Point is located at Malminkatu 5, 00100 Helsinki.
The opening hours of our offices are Tue-Fri 10 -15h.

1 – USING THE SPACE DURING OPENING HOURS

The members of Globe Art Point are welcomed to use the communal space upon agreement. There is also a possibility to book our small meeting room (max 5ppl.) during the opening hours, free of charge. Please write to us to check availability at info(at)globeartpoint.fi.

2 – WOULD YOU LIKE TO RENT OUT OUR SPACE FOR AN EVENT?

    – GAP members & members of GAP Creatives Database can use the space free of charge during the opening hours + outside of official opening hours confirmed by a written rental contract. Please write to us to check availability at info(at)globeartpoint.fi.

    – Non-members can rent the space outside official opening hours for 60 €/hour (minimum
3 hours). After 3 hours the fee will be 20 €/hour. Please write to us to check availability at info(at)globeartpoint.fi. In both cases, the person or collective using the space is responsible for respecting the associations’ values (section 5) and for cleaning before leaving the facilities. Please read and follow G.A.P Premises Checklist.

3 – WHAT KIND OF EVENTS CAN TAKE PLACE AT G.A.P?

We are focused on events that support professional development of creatives with diverse backgrounds who live and work in Finland. Therefore, the events that are organised in collaboration with G.A.P must be of educational character.

If a third party rents out our venue for their activity, we do not expect a specific content aligning with our mission, however, we do not support political propaganda, hate speech or any kind of activity that excludes specific groups from participating. Contact us for more information.

    4 – ACCESSIBILITY

Our office is located in Malminkatu 5, Kamppi, Helsinki. When searching for the route online, please search by our name “Globe Art Point” and not the address because the google maps will show you a misleading location. When you enter Malminkatu from Runeberginkatu/Kamppi metro station turn right, G.A.P is located in a pink building next to the Kamppi Family Centre.

*The nearest Kamppi metro station exit has been temporarily closed. Please take that into account when planning your journey.

Our facilities are accessible on the street level and assistant dogs are welcomed, however, please note our bathroom is not wheelchair friendly.

    – The nearest accessible toilet is in Kamppi Family Centre / Kampin perhekeskus (Malminkatu 3 F, 00100 Helsinki) open on Mon-Thu 7.00 – 20.00 and Fri 7.00 – 18.00.
    – Another alternative are the public toilets in the Kamppi metro station (Kampinkuja 1, 00100 Helsinki) that are about 5 min away. The opening hours are 5:00 – 00:00 most days. – temporarily closed

    5 – OUR VALUES

We welcome and support people of all backgrounds and identities. This includes, but is not limited to members of any sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, social and economic class, educational level, colour, immigration status, age, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability.

Every person using the G.A.P facilities must be treated equally and respectfully. Discrimination and any other kind of harassment is strictly forbidden. G.A.P condemns the use of discriminatory, subordinating, repressive or offensive terminology in all language used in the premises, and in any other connection to the association.

When using G.A.P’s facilities you commit to respect our values. The staff, association members, and facilitators of events at G.A.P are responsible for ensuring that every participant and guest is aware of our values and treats others with dignity and respect.

In case of a conflict situation, the organiser of the event is advised to intervene. If you witness or experience any harassment at G.A.P, please inform the staff or event facilitator immediately.
