GAP INFO LOCAL in Tampere

HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON AN EXCITING PROJECT BUT YOU ARE NOT ENTIRELY SURE HOW TO EXECUTE IT?

OR IN CONTRARY YOU HAVE MANY GREAT IDEAS BUT YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE COMPLEX SYSTEM OF GRANT APPLICATIONS WHICH ARE ULTIMATELY PREVENTING YOU FROM SENDING THEM IN?

ARE YOU PUZZLED BY THE PRACTICALITIES OF FILING TAXES FOR ARTISTS OR DO YOU PERHAPS NEED SOME ART-RELATED LEGAL ADVICE?

G.A.P INFO is coming to Tampere on 2nd of November to run a one-day-long event comprised of a series of grant writing workshops, general taxation workshop as well as a legal advice clinic. The program is targeted at foreign-born arts and culture professionals residing in Finland and therefore, the language of the event will be English. This event is funded by TAIKE and it is a continuation of a larger project in which G.A.P association visits cities around Finland (Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä) and in collaboration with the local partners disseminates their expertise to those people who cannot attend their regular events in the capital region.

For this particular event, there are several enrolment forms provided, one for each individual workshop. Professionals from the field of arts and culture are invited to enrol for one or ALL workshops and submit their workshop related questions beforehand. These questions will be then anonymously discussed during those workshops.

However, please note that only a handful of the submitted questions will be chosen for discussion. The chosen questions selected by the workshop facilitators will be carefully picked in order to benefit the majority of attendees.

The event is free of charge, but it requires pre-registration.

Due to the COVID-19 situation and space limitations, we will insure that there won’t be too many participants on site. If you are interested in attending this event, please register by 26th of October.

All of our confirmed participants who will stay for two or more workshops will be offered lunch and something warm to drink. The culture house Tahmelan Huvila will be closed to the general public; please stay home if you are not well, and keep a safe distance in the space. We will provide gloves for touching shared materials, disposable masks, and hand sanitisers.
