New report: Lack of diversity at state cultural institutions in the Nordic region

The proportion of employees with a foreign background to state-funded cultural institutions in the Nordic countries has increased over time, but the increase has not been at the same rate as in the general population. The representation of employees with foreign background has thus deteriorated between 2000 and 2015. Suomeen pakolaisina ja turvapaikanhakijoina vuosina 2011– 2016 saapuneet taiteilijat

TAITEEN EDISTÄMISKESKUKSEN SELVITYS, TAIJA ROIHA Selvityksessä käsitellään Suomeen pakolaisina ja turvapaikanhakijoina lähivuosina saapuneiden henkilöiden taiteellista osaamista. Selvityksen tavoitteena on kartuttaa tietoa siitä, minkä eri taiteenalojen osaajia maahan on saapunut ja millaista tukea he tarvitsevat voidakseen jatkaa taiteellisen työn tekemistä uudessa asuinmaassaan. Avoimen kirjoituskutsun kautta toteutettuun kyselyyn vastasi 69 kuluneen viiden vuoden aikana maahan saapunutta pakolaistaustaista taiteilijaa, joista enemmistö on saapunut maahan vuoden 2015 aikana.
