Globe Art Point is seeking a maternity substitute for the role of Project Manager between 14 October 2025 and 26 June 2026. This position is suited for a professional with a proven career in project management and event production, someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can balance multiple ongoing national and international projects at the same time. 

We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible calendar, as some events and meetings may take place in the late afternoons or evenings (always announced in advance). 

About the Role  

The Interim Project Manager will work closely with the Managing Director and Communications Specialist to ensure the smooth running of Globe Art Point’s activities. The work includes: 

  • Coordinating cultural projects and partnerships in Finland and abroad. 
  • Producing events, workshops, talks and training programmes. 
  • Acting as the main contact person for several local and international collaborators. 
  • Supporting artists and members through open calls, database activities, and networking events. 
  • Contributing to the organisation’s advocacy and community engagement work.  

This is a versatile role that combines planning, hands-on production, partner liaison, and facilitation at events. It’s a full-time, temporary position (Mon–Fri, 8/9–16/17) based at our office in Kamppi, Helsinki, with a possibility to do occasional remote work. Some events and meetings will take place around Uusimaa, with potential international travel. 

What We Expect 

  • Proven track record in project management and event production / at least 2 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of the Finnish art and culture field 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Confidence in public speaking and facilitation 
  • Fluency in English (our working language); other languages are an advantage 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work independently 
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends 
  • Familiarity with DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) principles is an asset
