The GAP Window’s third exhibition, We Flow, is a dynamic photographic tribute to one of Helsinki’s most beloved cultural landmarks: Flow Festival. Since 2004, Flow has transformed the Suvilahti area into a vibrant meeting point where music, art, design, and sustainability converge, shaping the very essence of Helsinki’s creative identity.
Photographer Robin DeWan has spent over a decade documenting Flow Festival, capturing its evolving spirit from 2012 to 2023. Many of the images were originally taken in his role as a photojournalist for SixDegrees Magazine and the Helsinki Times. Now, these moments, spanning from intimate portraits and charged performances to the collective pulse of festivalgoers, come together in a rotating digital projection of 30–40 photographs displayed in the GAP Window.
Located in the heart of Kamppi, We Flow transforms the public space into a lens of reflection and movement. The exhibition invites passersby to pause, feel the rhythm, and connect with the energy that has made Flow Festival a cornerstone of Helsinki’s international cultural scene.
Through this seamless visual narrative, GAP celebrates not just a festival, but a living, breathing embodiment of the city’s creative pulse.
GAP WINDOW is a window exhibition project initiated by Globe Art Point in 2021. The concept was created for the members of GAP Creatives Database with an aim to provide a unique opportunity to exhibit and/or experiment with their own artistic work and ideas.
Our window is visible from the street, you do not need a special access to see it.
