Vivian WONG Wing Lam (born in 2000 Hong Kong, based in Helsinki ) is an interdisciplinary artist. Through performance, moving image and community practices, her work examines the body as a field and symbol, carrying and resisting societal states of aphasia. Wong is interested in urban structures and entanglement of individuals and collective resilences, and the delicacy and possibilities carried within micro-narratives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Comparative Literature and Hong Kong Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Live Art and Performance Studies at Uniarts Helsinki.
