Shaghayegh Ansari is an Iranian interdisciplinary artist and artistic researcher working at the intersection of performance art, environmental humanities, cultural memory, and feminist methodologies. Her practice investigates how embodied and participatory artistic processes can function as performative archives through which experiences of migration, ecological crisis, displacement, and resistance become collectively articulated.
Across site-specific performances, participatory installations, and collective writing practices, she examines the relationship between body, memory, and place, with particular attention to urban environments and communities affected by social and environmental transformation.
Working between Iran and Finland, Shaghayegh develops artistic research projects that connect environmental change, everyday life, and cultural memory. She asks how performance can activate hidden narratives, sustain fragile forms of knowledge, and foster new ways of imagining coexistence in times of ecological and political uncertainty.
