Sarah is a Danish actor, performer, and theatre facilitator based in Finland. She works with physical theatre, improvisation, and character-based performance. Her background includes Meisner technique, Lecoq-inspired physical theatre, and many years of hands-on workshop practice. Her work is driven by an interest in presence, playfulness, and emotional truth on stage.
She works professionally across performance, facilitation, and voice acting. Sarah has collaborated with Yle Areena as a voice actor, most recently in Puutarhakaupungin murhamysteerit. She is also an active member of Ylioppilasteatteri, where she most recently performed in Koiranäyttely, a production that received five stars in Helsingin Sanomat as well as several other strong reviews in Finnish media.
Alongside her performance work, Sarah is the Co-Founder and Artistic Leader of Youth Theatre Helsinki, which runs weekly acting classes for children and teenagers in Helsinki. In her teaching, she combines clear structure with open exploration, and is particularly interested in creating spaces where young people can build confidence, empathy, and curiosity through theatre.
She is also developing her own artistic work through her duo-based collective WFIU Collective. Their latest performance was presented at Välitilossa Festival in November 2025. Her artistic work often explores embodied storytelling, relationships between people, and the tension between vulnerability and strength. She works across languages and borders, and is drawn to projects that combine artistic depth with social engagement.
In addition to theatre, Sarah works with drag and clowning. Her drag character Sam the MANager uses humour and exaggeration to explore power, masculinity, and politics. She has performed this work in various cultural contexts, most recently at Kiss My Ars Gallery’s one-year anniversary together with her drag group Liigalaiset.
Alongside her performance practice, Sarah is also an active musician, playing the violin with a focus on Irish folk music. She is currently studying at Skriftskolan and working on a poetry collection that explores vulnerability, eating disorders, and chaotic inner landscapes.
