Natalia Toussaint is a sound designer whose career has been driven by a deep passion for cinema and audiovisual storytelling. She developed an early interest in film, music, and the arts, which led her to pursue studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After beginning her film education in Buenos Aires, she studied Film Directing at Fundación TEBA (Taller Escuela de Buenos Aires), where she discovered her vocation for sound. In 2000, she graduated as an Integrated Film and Television Director.

She later specialized in Sound Design at ENERC (National School of Film Experimentation and Production – INCAA), one of Argentina’s most prestigious film schools, where she strengthened both the artistic and technical foundations of her work.

Since 2007, Natalia has dedicated herself primarily to sound post-production for documentary and fiction feature films, developing a career focused on creating immersive and expressive cinematic soundscapes. Her film credits include Moacir, Al acecho, Estilo Libre, El amo del jardin, and Fuga de la Patagonia, a film for which she was nominated for the Silver Condor Award for Best Sound in 2017.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with filmmakers, producers, and creative teams on projects that explore diverse narratives and cinematic languages, always approaching sound as an essential storytelling tool. Her work combines technical precision with a strong sensitivity to the emotional and narrative dimensions of film.

Alongside her film work, she has built a solid career in television, series, and commercials. She worked for five years at The Fain Music studio, specializing in sound and audio post-production, and took part in the production of more than 150 television and radio commercials for major national and international brands.

She later joined the post-production team at Underground Producciones, where she spent nearly twelve years working on acclaimed television and streaming series, including Graduados, Historia de un Clan, Un gallo para Esculapio, and all five seasons of El Marginal. These productions received numerous national and international awards and further expanded her experience across different audiovisual formats.

In 2025, Natalia relocated to Helsinki, Finland. She is currently studying Finnish language and culture while preparing the next chapter of her professional journey, with a particular interest in continuing to contribute to international film productions and creative audiovisual projects.
