I’m a creative producer and audience development professional based in Helsinki, currently employed at the Finnish National Theatre’s Communities & Involvement department. My strengths lie in ideation, strategy and adaptability. I have a background as a film director.
Producing first captivated me while producing the Brussels Film Festival in 2009. In Finland, I continued specialising in cultural production and completed a Master’s in Arts Management at the University of the Arts Helsinki. I acted as a producer both in events and performing arts organisations, and created a new ambitious midsummer event in Helsinki called Midsummer Madness, which I eventually transformed into a place-making experiment because of the corona restrictions. My passion for place and community often leads me to audience engagement and place-making projects.
I graduated as a film director in 2008 and amassed vast film set experience across Europe. Each of my short films received awards on smaller film festivals. For a number of years, I created audiovisual content for organisations.
