Being native German, born 1975, Art and creativity has been a part of Sandra‘s life since early childhood. Later it became a part of her profession as Management Assistant in Advertising.
As young adult she attended courses testing all kinds of artistic directions and fields. Only after being relocated in Finland 2005, she was finally able to take things a step further, developing and delving into her own style, using mixed media. Most of the time she approaches her works with a certain vision, inspired through words, feelings, situations and music. Sandras paintings come with a twist: nearly all of them are painted during nighttime or early morning hours.
She constantly feels the urge to draw, this is why she always carries a sketchbook and a pencil with her to satisfy the “itching fingers” and to pickup on ideas. Some call this weird, she calls it expressing her creativity through her own spark of madness.
