Saskia Signori // Chairperson
Versatile Arts Professional 

Saskia is a versatile arts professional with experience working in museums and institutions in Finland and abroad. Her own search for creative research in relation to diverse cultures and transcultural knowledge has led her to co-found the Arcaica Association, that promotes cultural exchange by creating circuits of arts residencies connecting artists and cultural professionals internationally in collaborative projects. Saskia is also an art conservator who works as a registrar in the National Finnish Glass Museum in the management of local and international exhibitions.

Julia Jing Guo // Vice-Chairperson
International Art Producer

Julia is a cultural facilitator and arts advocate with a history of fostering cross-cultural exchange. As a board member of TCG Nordica Art Centre in China, she curated over a hundred art events, contributing to its reputation as a cultural bridge between Nordic countries and China. Since moving to Finland in 2022, Julia owns a café in Helsinki, which she envisions as a hub for art, ideas, and connection. Dedicated to promoting cultural dialogue, she offers the space for small art events and seeks to bridge Asia and Finland through creative collaboration.

David Kozma // Board Member
Actor & Director

David Kozma is a Romanian-Hungarian actor and director based in Helsinki. A graduate of the Drama Department at Babeș-Bolyai University (2001), he began his career in Romanian and Hungarian theatre and television before relocating to Finland in 2006. Since then, he has worked extensively across Finnish theatre, film, and television, known for his multilingual, cross-cultural approach to performance and storytelling.

Kozma is a co-founder of the European Theatre Collective, now known as Post Theatre Collective, which emphasizes socially engaged, multidisciplinary productions that foreground underrepresented voices. His directorial work includes Suomen mestari, which premiered at the Aleksanteri Theatre in 2023. As an actor, his recent role in the short film Blue Note (dir. Pavel Andonov) earned a Jussi Award nomination for Best Short Film in 2022.

He has also contributed to cultural policy and advocacy, working at the Arts Promotion Centre Finland on the Development Programme for Cultural Diversity and Mobility. Kozma continues to work as a freelance director and actor, with a focus on inclusive narratives and intercultural dialogue.

Rute Morais Peixoto // Board Member
Interdisciplinary Artist

Rute is a Portuguese interdisciplinary artist and architect based in Helsinki, Finland. Combining visual art, architecture, and music, her practice delves into themes of perception, memory, attachment, compulsive geometrical alignments, and the pursuit of singularities in the ordinary. It spans collage, painting, songwriting, media art, interior and building design. Morais Peixoto’s work has been exhibited in venues across Finland, Portugal, and Slovenia.

Holding an MArch with distinction from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto, she also studied at University of Ljubljana and the Music Conservatory of Porto. Morais Peixoto has collaborated with renowned studios, including Souto de Moura, Siza Vieira, Fala Atelier, and Lundén Architecture Oy, and has taught at Aalto University.

Her main ongoing project, Living Rooms, has been supported by two working grants from Taike. The current series focuses on displaced individuals and the emotional connections they form with intimate rooms.

Jordy Valderrama // Board Member
Performing Artist

Formed as a mime, actor, dancer, and puppeteer. Jordy produces directs and writes adaptations for theatre, dance, circus, and puppets shows.

Professor Valderrama is also a Licensed Teacher of Art Education with a major in Dramatic Arts and graduated in 2017 at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland as a Vocational Teacher (Ammatillinen Opettaja -AmO) Pedagogue by the Finnish National Agency for Education. He has widely taught, directed and performed Mime, Circus, Dance, Puppets, and Drama at schools, universities, and educational institutions for the last 40 years.

Jordy Valderrama

Tatiana Solovieva // Vice Board Member
Cultural Producer and Diversity Agent

Tatiana is an event producer and diversity agent actively involved in multicultural actions, migrant inclusion and cultural equity. Former flamenco performer, teacher and entrepreneur she has been living and working in St.Petersburg, Helsinki, London and Cádiz before moving to Helsinki in 2011. She is particularly interested in projects aimed at developing a new, innovative and creative approach to promote diversity and intercultural dialogue as well as developing strategic collaboration between local cultural institutions and different immigrant associations.

Alexandr Foy // Vice Board Member
Human Rights Activist and Cultural Producer

Alexandr is a dedicated advocate for socio-economic integration, inclusive education, and human rights, with extensive experience in governing non-profit organisations and media production. He is the co-founder and chairman of Svenska.fi, an association supporting Swedish-language integration in Finland, and a board member of Tigern rf, a Swedish-speaking cultural association that publishes Ny Tid magazine. Alexandr also co-founded Tochka.fi, a Russian-speaking lifestyle media and event agency based in Helsinki, where he serves as a board member and main producer.
