Working Days & Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00–15:00 (Tues–Thurs onsite, Fridays remote) 

Globe Art Point (GAP) is seeking a creative and experienced Communications Specialist to join our small, dynamic team. This part-time role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives in a collaborative, multicultural environment and is eager to shape and elevate our organisation’s public presence. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create engaging written and visual content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), newsletters, and website 
  • Manage and develop GAP’s brand identity across all platforms and activities 
  • Design and produce graphics for events, campaigns, and publications 
  • Lead outreach strategies to grow and engage our audience 
  • Plan and schedule social media content with attention to analytics and platform algorithms 
  • Support visual documentation of events (occasional evening shifts with prior notice) 
  • Contribute to strategic communications planning and visibility efforts 
  • Collaborate with the team to align messaging across programmes and initiatives 

Who We’re Looking For 

  • A people-person and team player with a friendly and positive attitude 
  • A skilled communicator with at least 2 years of professional experience or a degree in communications, graphic design, or related fields 
  • Proven experience in graphic design and brand development 
  • Fluent in English (our working language) 
  • Confident in using social media platforms professionally, including understanding analytics and algorithms 
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team 
  • Reliable, creative, and responsible 
  • Familiarity with DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) principles is an asset 
  • Skills in photography are a plus
