Given the major and unprecedented policy changes that have happened and are happening in Finland, it’s crucial for our community to be familiar with how these changes will affect our livelihood and what we could potentially do to mitigate the effect of these changes and to potentially affect these policies in the future before they are made. Additionally, providing information concerning the process of making policies, governance, rights of citizens and residents, and the impact of policies is within the scope of this event

The event builds on previous sessions on the government changes in Integration, Immigration, and Arts and Culture.

Key Highlights

  • Experts educate and inform the attendees on what is going on behind the scenes of policy making and governance
  • Q&A Session for the audience to satisfy their curiosity or concerns
  • Collaboration/Networking opportunities with experts

This event is part of Think Africa Week (TAWeek), organised since 2013, the biggest thought leadership event bringing people of African background in Finland together with stakeholders in Finnish society to engage in dialogue, network, share information and exchange ideas.
