G.A.P Goes Galleries is an event concept designed to connect professional creatives with art spaces, cultural organisations, and art institutions. Providing a low-threshold platform for casual information exchange, fostering connections and collaborations within the art and culture community in both the metropolitan area and beyond.

Organised by Globe Art Point (G.A.P), this inclusive event caters to art and culture professionals interested in exploring various art spaces, discovering exhibition opportunities, networking, and meeting like-minded individuals. The events are conducted in English, ensuring accessibility to a diverse audience. No registration is required; this event is open to the public, and everyone is welcomed to attend.

During the visit, GAP Goes Galleries participants will have the opportunity to meet HIAP team members and Residents of the spring Residency season, as we join one of their Weekly Afternoon Coffee get-togethers. This is a great opportunity to meet artists who have recently started their Residency at HIAP, and to see the facilities that the Residency provides to artists, curators, and creative practitioners. We will hear about the collaborative projects that HIAP are currently involved with. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore this unique setting and organization that is situated in the middle of Helsinki’s archipelago.
