Date: 28.2. 2024
Time: 15:00 – 16:00
Locations: Frame Contemporary Art Finland, Töölönkatu 11 A, 00100 Helsinki
G.A.P Goes Galleries is an event concept designed to connect professional creatives with art spaces, cultural organisations, and art institutions. This event directly addresses the expressed needs of our members and community, who have indicated a lack of connections and opportunities to meet and form collaborations.
G.A.P Goes Galleries provides a low-threshold platform for casual information exchange, fostering connections and collaborations within the art and culture community in both the metropolitan area and beyond. Organised by Globe Art Point (G.A.P), this inclusive event caters to art and culture professionals interested in exploring various art spaces, discovering exhibition opportunities, networking, and meeting like-minded individuals.
The events are conducted in English, ensuring accessibility to a diverse audience. No registration is required; this event is open to the public, and everyone is welcomed to attend.
In the first event of 2024, Globe Art Point is excited to visit the premises of Frame Contemporary Art Finland, located in Töölö, Helsinki. During our visit, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the mission of the organisation, explore its current programmes, diverse activities, and various opportunities tailor-made for Finnish and Finland based art and culture professionals.
Importantly, one of the key discussion points will involve a presentation of Frame’s grant support. This support is specifically designed to fund international exhibitions, publications, participation in art fairs, as well as facilitating the international travels of art professionals. This event is an invaluable chance for attendees to gain insights into these opportunities and understand how they can enhance their artistic endeavours in Finland, warm welcome!
